Whether you are just starting out with drawing or already have a lot of sketching experience, this one-day course is for anyone who wants to delve deeper into life as an artist and/or illustrator. On this day, we will work on your technique and create illustrations to take your drawing skills to the next level. This includes realistic sketching of people and objects, learning to apply composition theory, working with color, and refining your line work.
We will apply this in practical assignments. These may include:
– creating an editorial illustration based on a text,
– designing a character,
– developing spot illustrations,
– and illustrating a cover.
