Affordable workspace in the CREA voorfabriek

Looking for an inspiring and affordable workspace for your student organisation? The CREA voorfabriek (the wing of the building above the CREA café) has various flexible workspaces, ideal for student initiatives. Spread over four floors, the front factory contains 23 spaces of different sizes for working and meeting, four pantries and a storage area. Here you work together with other organisations in a vibrant building with lots of facilities.

What does CREA offer?

With a workspace at CREA you can count on:

  • Access to work and meeting rooms
  • HD wifi everywhere
  • Use of reception services
  • Use of shared pantry
  • Joint activities such as BBQs and borrels
  • Colour and A3 printers (from €0.05 per printout)
  • (Optional) Access to a storage cabinet
  • (Optional) Mailbox and postal address for your organisation

You will find all this in a dynamic building with other student organisations, a cosy café and a music and theatre hall available for public activities. The ideal place to quickly make contact, share knowledge and start collaborations.

Facilities & costs

To best support student organisations, CREA provides the facilities below. As of 2025-2026, the costs for the Voorfabriek are structured differently. The facilities below can be combined (e.g. Flex space 10x 2 hours in combination with mailbox and small storage cabinet).We encourage student organisations to look at what they need and apply for this.

Extra info:
  • For Flex space 10x 2 hours, you must indicate at the beginning of the academic year at what time you want to schedule these meetings. These will be booked for you (if available) and you are not entitled to reserve additional hours/spaces.
  • With Flex space unlimited, your organisation has the right to reserve as much flex space as your organisation needs. The first 50 hours are within the membership and thereafter rooms are €1,- p/h for small rooms and €3,- p/h for large rooms.
  • The Walk-in meeting hour is a fixed time for your organisation to interact with (potential) members/your community in the Voorfabriek living room. During the academic year, it is possible to change the time of this moment based on availability.
  • For General assembly (ALV) option, you must also provide the dates of your General assemblies/ALVs at the beginning of the academic year.
  • The Office spaces in CREA are approximately 15m2 per office (limited availability). For shared offices, you will share the space with at least 1 other organisation.

Note: All applications are carefully considered by the Allocation Committee. However, please note that space is limited. The committee decides whether – and for what – your organisation qualifies.

Top up printing/booking balance

Does your organisation have a (flex) room and would you like to top up the print and booking balance? Add credit to your account (max. €999) via the CREA reception or via the button below. By logging in there, you can also check how much credit is left on your account.

Application form

Workspaces are assigned every academic year. Apply now for 2025-2026 by filling in the application form. You can apply from 1 May until 25 May 2025.
