Looking for an inspiring and affordable workspace for your student organisation? De Voorfabriek at REC offers a variety of flexible workspaces, ideal for student initiatives.

De Voorfabriek features different areas for working and meeting, pantries, and a storage room. Here, you’ll work alongside other organisations in a vibrant building with plenty of facilities.

Facilities at the De Voorfabriek

With a workspace in De Voorfabriek, you can expect:
• Access to work and meeting rooms on the REC Campus
• High-speed Wi-Fi throughout
• Use of shared pantries
• Joint activities with other associations in De Voorfabriek
• Colour and A3 printers (from €0.10 per print)
• (Optional) Mailbox and postal address for your organisation
• (Optional) Access to a storage cabinet

You can find all of this in a dynamic building shared with other student organisations, a cosy café, and a music and theatre hall available for public activities. It is the ideal place to quickly make connections, share knowledge, and start collaborations.

Keylist/Sleutellijst

Does your organisation have a (flex)office, postal cublical or storage locker at CREA? CREA needs to have some details of the people who are allowed to use the facilities on behalf of your organisation. You can find the format for the keylist (sleutellijst) below, fill it in and send it to sleutellijst@crea.nl.

Facilities & costs

To optimally support student organisations, the Voorfabriek offers various facilities that organisations can combine as needed (for example, Flex Space 15×2 hours combined with a mailbox and a small storage cabinet). Check the menu of options to put together your subscription.

Applications

Each academic year, the workspaces are reassigned. Applications for 2026–2027 are open from 1 May to 25 May 2027. All applications are carefully considered by the Allocation Committee. However, please note that space is limited. The committee determines whether – and for what – your organisation is eligible. You will receive a response from the committee within three weeks after the deadline.
