terms & conditions for renting the CREA theatre and music hall

As long as the measures are in place to prevent the spread of Corona, the basic conditions for renting the CREA theatre or music hall will remain in place. In addition, a number of corona-conditions apply as long as the government is taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus. The Cabinet’s measures and advice of RIVM are leading for these conditions and may therefore be subject to change.

basic terms & conditions for renting the CREA theatre and music hall

opening hours

  • CREA is open on weekdays from 9:00 until 23:00, Saturdays from 10:00 until 23:00 on Sundays from 11:00 until 17:00. As such: an evening program is not possible on Sundays.
  • CREA café is open on weekdays from 9:00 until 01:00, Saturdays from 10:00 until 01:00 and Sundays from 11:00 until 19:00.
  • The technician has a right to work-breaks: a minimum of 30 minutes per 5 hours worked. The time of the technicians break can be rescheduled with his/her consent to adjust for the requirements of the event.
  • The ‘Muziekzaal’ can in some cases stay open until after the regular closing time. This is to be discussed with the theatre manager.
  • The renting party is obliged to clear the rented space and the dressing rooms within thirty minutes after the end of the event, unless discussed otherwise.

technique and scenery

  • During the preparation and clearing of the rented space, a CREA technician will be present. The technician is the only person who can handle the theatre equipment, unless discussed otherwise. The times for the building and clearing will be agreed beforehand.
  • Use of special effects such as fire, smoke, paint, confetti and/or water and other materials, as listed in the PRIE-list, is prohibited without permission by the theatre manager.
  • (Technical) material brought in by the renting party must be reported to the theatre manager beforehand. This material may not be installed or attached without the supervision/permission of a CREA technician.
  • The renting party may not hang posters or other material in the building without the permission of CREA. Posters must be hanged using hanging material provided by CREA. The renting party is responsible for the removal of the posters.
  • The renting party may use all of the available technical equipment if this is discussed beforehand.
  • All materials must be removed on the last day of the event within the opening hours of the CREA building. CREA cannot be held responsible for any damage to materials left behind.
  • All materials brought in by the renting party must adhere tot the fire-code prescriptions. If CREA suspects that materials are not up to code CREA reserves the right to refuse materials from entering the building.
  • N.B.: Use of the dressing room is only permitted when using the Theatre. When using the ‘Muziekzaal’ using the dressing room is not possible, unless discussed otherwise.

ticket sales

  • The renting party organizes and provides its own ticket sales (cash desk, change and tickets) unless discussed otherwise.
  • The ‘Theaterzaal’ has a maximum capacity of 120 people. The maximum capacity of the ‘Muziekzaal’ depends on the audience formation (max 100-250 people). This must be discussed with the theatre manager.
  • In case of ticket sales, the renting party must provide a student-tarif of €10,- maximum

royalties

Concerning the work that will be performed, the music or the film(s), the renting party is responsible for complying with the general terms and conditions of the concerned copyright. CREA is not liable for the consequences of neglect concerning the copyright terms.

liability

  • The renting party is liable for any damage to the rented space, materials and equipment, that has been caused by the use of the renting party in a intentionally or unintentionally neglectful manner.
  • CREA is not liable for damage or loss of materials belonging to the renting party or a third party attending the event of the renting party, unless this damage or loss is due to gross negligence of party in the employ of CREA.

breach of contract

  • If the renting party cancels the event more than 4 weeks beforehand, the renting party does not owe anything.
  • If the renting party cancels the event within 4 weeks of the event, the renting party owes CREA 25% of the agreed price.
  • If the renting party cancels the event within 2 weeks of the event, the renting party owes CREA 50% of the agreed price.
  • If the renting party cancels the event within 1 week of the event, the renting party owes CREA the full amount of the agreed price.
  • If the renting party is negligent on any point discussed in this document and causes damage to CREA, CREA will hold the renting party financially accountable for the damage.
  • CREA reserves the right to annul the agreement in case the space is not available due to technical or maintenance issues which cannot be resolved in due time.
  • Breaching these terms and conditions may result in a fine from CREA to the amount of €250,-. Additionally CREA can also bill the renting party for cleaning costs (max. €50,-) as well as costs for any damages.

claims

The renting party absolves CREA of any claims by third parties.

parking

CREA is located in a car-free zone. Loading and unloading of a car or small truck is possible only if discussed beforehand with the theatre manager.

hospitality

If the renting party requieres any hospitality services (drinks, food, snacks), the renting party is obliged to make use of the facilities offered by the CREA café, unless agreed otherwise

aanvullende coronavoorwaarden huur CREA theater/muziekzaal

  • CREA bezoeken kan alleen op afspraak. Dus alleen wanneer je bezoekers gereserveerd hebben voor het betreffende evenement in een van de uitvoeringszalen kun je CREA binnenkomen.
  • De huurder van de zaal is verantwoordelijk voor het aannemen van reserveringen en deze lijst door te geven aan CREA via events@crea.nl én planning@crea.nl. Hierbij dienen emailadres en telefoonnummer van de betreffende persoon genoteerd te worden.
  • Het maximum aantal toegestane reserveringen is voor 30 personen.
  • Ieder individu verleent medewerking aan de triage bij de ingang van het pand voordat hij/zij wordt toegelaten.
  • Door van CREA een zaal te huren, zeg je toe en garandeer je, dat je als huurder niet naar het CREA gebouw zult komen om gebruik te maken van de gehuurde ruimte wanneer je Covid-19 symptomen hebt, zoals benauwd zijn en/of koorts hebben, of een huisgenoot hebt die dat heeft. Je zegt bij huur ook toe en garandeert dat je er actief voor zorg draagt dat er geen personen in de door jou gehuurde studio aanwezig zullen zijn die Covid-19 symptomen hebben, zoals benauwd zijn en/of koorts hebben, of een huisgenoot hebben die dat heeft.
  • Het pand is vanaf 15 minuten voor aanvang van het evenement toegankelijk voor inloop. Voor dit moment wordt men nog niet toegelaten. Na het evenement dient men het pand direct te verlaten. Men mag niet blijven wachten/hangen in de hal of andere verkeersruimtes.
  • Het is van belang dat iedere huurder van zalen van CREA zijn of haar verantwoordelijkheid neemt in verband met het Coronavirus Covid-19. In en om het CREA gebouw dienen alle bezoekers, medewerkers en huurders, zich te houden aan alle actueel geldende Nederlandse maatregelen, in het bijzonder alle basisregels voor iedereen zoals die zijn gepubliceerd op www.overheid.nl in verband met het Coronavirus Covid 19. De actueel geldende maatregelen worden bekend verondersteld. Huurders zijn verplicht er actief voor te zorgen dat iedereen die aanwezig is in de gehuurde ruimte zich houdt aan alle actueel geldende Nederlandse maatregelen.
  • Wanneer de verhuur van een zaal door bijzondere omstandigheden, daaronder tevens begrepen (nieuwe) maatregelen van de overheid met betrekking tot het Covid-19 virus, niet door kan gaan, een en ander uitsluitend ter beoordeling van CREA, behoudt CREA zich het recht voor de huur te annuleren. In dat geval worden er geen kosten in rekening gebracht.

aanvullende coronahuisregels huur CREA theater/muziekzaal huur

  • De huurder wordt met klem verzorgd om een actieve rol te spelen bij het begeleiden van het publiek in het naleven van de (corona)huisregels en voorwaarden. Doormiddel van het vooraf informeren van hun bezoekers en door tijdens het evenement hun gasten te begeleiden.
  • Bezoekers dienen de zaal in single file en op 1,5 meter afstand van elkaar binnen te komen en te verlaten.
  • Men dient eerst de stoelen het verst van de ingang te bezetten en dan rij voor rij de stoelen op te vullen. Bij het verlaten van de zaal dient dit ook rij voor rij te gaan waarbij eerst de rij het dichtst bij de uitgang de zaal verlaat.
  • De huurder dient het evenement zo te organiseren dat er géén gelijktijdige in- en uitloop naar de zaal is.
  • Houd altijd 1,5 meter afstand van andere aanwezigen.
  • Men mag alleen gebruik maken van de stoelen die hier voor beschikbaar zijn gesteld. Stoelen mogen NIET verplaatst worden.
  • Houd je aan de richtlijnen en volg de looproutes die CREA aan heeft gegeven in het gebouw.
  • Let op! Onze lift is alleen beschikbaar voor mindervaliden en goederen.
  • De kleedkamer van het Theater kan door maximaal 4 personen tegelijkertijd gebruikt worden.
  • Toiletbezoek wordt ontmoedigd. Indien nodig kan men gebruik maken van het toilet die te bereiken is via de gouden trap in de hal. LET OP: de uitloop route van het toilet verloopt via een andere weg, namelijk via de nooduitgang. De route staat ter plekke aangegeven.
  • Bij voorkeur worden er geen microfoons gebruikt. Indien nodig gaat de voorkeur uit naar dasspeld microfoons die de gebruiker zelf opspeld en die niet gedeeld wordt met anderen. Als gebruik van handmicrofoons onvermijdelijk is dan NIET delen met anderen. Als het delen van microfoons onvermijdelijk is dan desinfectie spray en doekjes op de vloer hebben om voor overhandiging de microfoon te reinigen.
  • Vragen vanuit het publiek worden NIET met microfoon gesteld.
  • Bij voorkeur worden er GEEN pauzes gehouden. Indien een pauze toch nodig is dan dient deze in de zaal plaats te vinden; het is mensen niet toegestaan om zich naar elders in het gebouw te verplaatsen of even naar buiten te gaan m.u.v. toiletbezoek.
