During this course, you will work with Adobe InDesign CC. InDesign is the best programme for combining texts and images in a beautiful design. Under the guidance of the teacher, you will work through the basic tools and functions of the programme in six lessons.
What will you do?
You will learn what is possible in InDesign. For example, playing with colour fields, typography and loading images. You will learn to edit these elements until you have a beautiful design. A design that you can then also deliver correctly.
As well as an introduction to the technical possibilities of InDesign, we will also discuss how to arrive at a good design. And what makes a good design.
At the end of the course, you will be able to create a text with images and deliver it print-ready or suitable for a digital presentation. In between, you will get assignments to learn the techniques and routing within the programme.
What do you need to know?
This is a course for beginners. During the physical course, you work at CREA on Mac computers. If you can handle this, you can follow the course without any problems. For the online version, you need to have your own InDesign programme to be able to follow the course.
How do we proceed?
You will learn the same thing in the online variant and the physical variant. If you register for the online variant, you will work from home and we will meet weekly, live on Zoom. The physical course is given at CREA.
At CREA, we will work with Adobe InDesign CC on a Mac.
To get the most out of the course, regular practice is very important. For this reason, it is important to download the software onto your computer by purchasing a licence from Surfspot or a monthly subscription from Adobe.
