Please note! For summer week courses, registrations close at 12:00 on the Monday before the start of the course (one week before the start). It is then decided whether the course has enough participants to go ahead. So, make sure to register on time!
From tight to loose, from collaborative to solo and from rehearsing a choreography to creating by yourself or together. This will be a week in which you will discover where your strengths lie.
The tight forms you learn in classical ballet class will be applied while rehearsing classical dance combinations. During modern dance class you learn to let go. Using these combinations of movements, you will create a choreography together with others in which the focus is on creating movement. You work on duets, group combinations and improvisations.
What will we be doing?
The day starts with a ballet class followed by a short pilates class or modern dance class to build strength and loosen up. After lunch, we will focus on rehearsing an existing choreography and you will create a choreography yourself or with others. During the resting moments, we get inspired by watching online dance pieces or interviews of well-known choreographers. We end the day with a cooldown in which we stretch and relax by loosening connective tissue. So that you can get back to work fit the next day.
In short, an intensive week with a lot of fun and a physical challenge!
