conditions & house rules studio rental

As long as the measures are in place to prevent the spread of Corona, the basic conditions for studio rental at CREA remain in force. In addition, a number of corona conditions apply to the CREA studio rental as long as the government takes measures to prevent spread.  Additional corona house rules have also been added to the basic house rules.

The Cabinet measures and advice of the RIVM are leading for these conditions and therefore may be subject to change.

basic conditions for studio rental

  • In addition to the basic terms and conditions, there are additional terms and conditions for studio rental related to corona until further notice.

  • Studios can only be reserved for and on whole hours.
  • Reservations may have to be cancelled or changed because CREA is forced by circumstances to use the reserved studio for other purposes. CREA will contact you about this in advance.
  • CREA will determine whether a studio is suitable for the tenant’s intended use. Read here what can or cannot be done in the rental studios in connection with the corona measures.
  • Groups can only make use of the student discount if more than half of the group demonstrably consists of students.
  • Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the relevant reservation. After that you will lose the entire amount.

  • By renting a studio from CREA, you affirm and guarantee that you will not come to the CREA building as a tenant to make use of the rented space if you have Covid-19 symptoms, such as being short of breath and/or having a fever, or if you have a roommate who has a fever. You also promise and guarantee that you will actively ensure that there will be no persons in the rented studio who have Covid-19 symptoms, such as being short of breath and/or having a fever, or have a roommate who has that.
  • When, due to special circumstances, including (new) governmental measures regarding the Covid-19 virus, the rental of a studio cannot go ahead, this at the sole discretion of CREA, CREA reserves the right to cancel the rental. In that case, the rent paid will be refunded.
  • If during the use of the rented studio, the renter and/or 1 or more other persons present in the rented space, does not comply with the additional corona conditions for studio rental, this exclusively at CREA’s discretion, CREA reserves the right to terminate the rental immediately and in that case the renter is obligated to immediately vacate the rented space.
