Shira Koopman
Bio:
Following her dance career, Shira studied photography at the Fotoacademie Amsterdam. Her current work as a photographer is very diverse. She mainly shoots portraits and reportage for clients from the cultural sector, both on location and in her studio. Since a few years she is pursuing her development as an autonomous photographer. This work ranges from portrait series to abstract work, with a fascination for the themes of time and nature.
In addition to her work as a photographer, Shira works as a photography teacher and teaches basic photography classes and various in-depth workshops. Her classes focus on developing your photographic outlook, discovering where your strengths and inspirations lie, and learning how to put your own vision into a photo.
