Peter Dammers
Bio:
Peter Dammers studied mathematics and philosophy before entering the Gerrit Rietveld Academy on the basis of an experimental photo series. At the school’s audio visual department he further developed his skills in painting and movie making, along with sound collage and animation.
After art school Peter went on to study movie making, web design and computer programming. Next to drawing, painting and movie making he worked as a photographer, web designer and movie critic. Peter has been a teacher for over 20 years, at several (international) schools and art institutes in the country.Apart from working, Peter enjoys playing tennis and beach volleyball, music improvisation, collecting (vintage books, vinyl and general design), studying foreign languages and being silly.
