Jacob Surendonk
Bio:
Jacob Surendonk is a guitarist and guitar teacher. After his conservatoire days in Hilversum and Amsterdam, he mainly focused on a classical repertoire while performing a lot. He has always played in bands, which took up so much of his time that the classical guitar had to give way. He likes the variety.
Jacob has been teaching for quite a long time. For about a decade, he was a substitute teacher at music schools all over the Netherlands, providing both group and individual lessons. Now he enjoys teaching guitar at the Geert Groote school in Amsterdam, at the Vrije Muziekschool. He also has a small studio on the Singel where he gives private lessons, both on acoustic and electric guitar.
