Alexandra Loembé
Bio:
Alexandra Loembé (1997) is a Russian-Congolese dance artist and creative. In 2020, she completed her dance teacher training at the Academy of Theatre and Dance. Additionally, she trained with the SNDO (ATD/AHK), Boukje Schweigman (Schweigman&) and Ecole des Sables in Senegal, among others. Besides walking her path as a new maker, Alexandra works for Nederlands Dans Theater, the Academy for Theatre and Dance and Kleintjekunst, among others, has been featured in several performances and teaches contemporary dance workshops called Creative Embodiment. “In my work, I am influenced by both African and European contemporary dance aesthetics, multi-sensitivity and connection to nature. Through dance, I want to connect different worlds and let each person re-experience their inner world.”
