Learn to get in touch with your emotions in the here and now. All our feelings are stored in the body. By listening to your body, you get to better understand your feelings and therefore yourself. It is a journey of discovery that contributes to your personal and creative development.
What will you be doing?
We all have expectations of ourselves – maybe even very high ones – and we want to showcase ourselves to the outside world in a certain way. This can sometimes be at odds with how we really feel. Your body posture, muscle tension, facial expressions, breathing, the space you occupy; it all tells something about you.
Through exercises from haptonomy and theatre, which you do together with the group, you become aware of the non-verbal signals in yourself and between you and the other person. What happens in the contact? How do you deal with stress or pressure? How can you stay close to yourself? In a safe, playful and light-hearted way, you practice feeling, body awareness, observation and being present in the here and now. The teacher takes you there step by step so that you come out of your head and into your body.
