Please note! For summer week courses, registrations close at 12:00 on the Monday before the start of the course (one week before the start). It is then decided whether the course has enough participants to go ahead. So, make sure to register on time!
This course is for anyone who wants to play guitar together in a group, for beginners and (somewhat) advanced players. Because the music we play consists of different parts with different levels, there is enough challenge for all players. We will play a bit of everything. Spanish music, South American rhythms, pop and reggae, to name but a few. Classical and blues.
What will we be doing?
Besides playing together, we will also practise the different parts separately, in smaller groups. This ensures a pleasant working level, and regularly we will then merge everyone into the whole ensemble. You can also sometimes practise your parts alone. This way, some extra attention can be given to your individual development. Ultimately, our goal is to have fun playing together as well as practising. How do you do that in a fun way?
Because guitar playing also has quite a physical side, there is a lot of focus on correct posture, fingering and relaxation while playing. You will also learn some useful stretches and the like. This way, you’ll be able to keep going longer and we can enjoy playing together to the fullest! A few key words: fun (of course!), concentration, personal learning curve, cooperation, (musical) knowledge, performance.
