Please note! For summer week courses, registrations close at 12:00 on the Monday before the start of the course (one week before the start). It is then decided whether the course has enough participants to go ahead. So, make sure to register on time!
This course is a creative breeding ground suitable for all instrumentalists, vocalists and electronic musicians who want to create and perform new music. Based on assignments, some composition and music theory lessons, help with your technical and ensemble playing skills and, above all, lots of music making, you will gain experience in a short time that can be used in a band, as a singer-songwriter or in your own home-studio and develop yourself as a composer and/or musician.
What will you be doing?
Each day starts with a classroom moment where music will be presented, and more in-depth practical examples will be discussed. You will then start a new collaboration and retreat to one of the rooms to work on new music. This is presented in front of the group the next day, and finally ‘the best of’ is presented at the final presentation. All music from the most experimental noise to glitter pop is welcome, as long as it is compelling.
