Kees Arntzen

Kees Arntzen studied guitar, composition and musicology in Amsterdam and Vienna at both the conservatory and university. He worked as a reviewer for daily newspaper Trouw and publishes in music trade magazines. He regularly gives concerts, teaches classical guitar and composes orchestral works, chamber music and songs.

Besides his musical activities, Kees devotes a lot of time to his development as a painter and graphic artist. He studied at the Wackers Academy in Amsterdam, the International Art Academy in Rome and he followed the orientation year at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He regularly exhibits in small galleries and around Amsterdam, such as Punt WG, K 227 and the Weefhuis.
