event details

The Green Office introduces the Green Talk series. This will be a series of lectures, interviews, and debates regarding the theme sustainability.

Our speakers will range from students, who are new to the field, to successful managers already investing years in sustainability, to show you what is possible even “just” as a student. Also, if you are interested in networking and getting information regarding career options this is the right place for you, too. You can look forward to the Green Talks every last week of the month.

For our first edition we have two women in academia who will present their research:

When Annelotte Derkink took the Tesla Minor, she and her team developed a Materials Passport for mattresses. Now consumers and recyclers can know if their mattress is sustainable and how it can be recycled.

Sofie te Wierik takes an interdisciplinary approach looking at how we deal with water. Specifically, she focuses on green and atmospheric water as policies regarding them are underdeveloped.

Afterward, there will be time for a short Q&A round.
