Unfortunately, this course had to be cancelled due to an insufficient number of registrations at the decisive moment a week prior to its planned start.
In a playful environment, we’ll explore ways of moving together through a blend of technique and improvisation. And we’ll set out to discover: how does movement take on meaning?
In this course, you’ll be amazed by your own strength, find yourself more flexible than you thought, and hopefully not be too sore afterwards. And who knows, you might even make a few new friends—all of whom you’ll have lifted at some point.
What will we be doing?
We’ll be using partner acrobatics, movement, playfighting and contact improvisation, dance and (soft) acrobatics.
You’ll work as a group, in pairs or solo, and each day we’ll move based on a different ‘physical theme’ such as carrying, pushing, lifting or grabbing. In this way, we’ll create a number of short movement theatre scenes.
Teacher Marrit’s motto is: “to move is to be moved”. Fancy joining us for a week of movement?
