Do you enjoy sketching and illustrating, and would you like to take this to the next level? Do you want to work digitally with the Adobe Illustrator programme? Illustrator is the programme to translate your creative ideas from drawing paper into digital illustrations. With Illustrator, you can create logos, corporate identities, posters and much more!
What will you be doing?
In this beginners’ course you will be taught step-by-step about the work area of the Illustrator programme. You will design simple and more complex illustrations and learn to work with different shapes and styles of illustration, use of colour and typography. You will work towards a final product in your own project.
This is an introductory course. You do not need experience with the programme beforehand, but you are expected to be able to work with an Apple or a Windows computer. During the lessons, you will receive explanations and various illustration assignments. You can do these during class, and the teacher will also be available for questions. Occasionally, you will get an assignment that you need to prepare outside of class.
At the end of the course, you will be able to design your own illustrations, logos, typography and posters!
