Want to play music on the streets of Amsterdam and learn the secrets behind stopping a tourist in their tracks to listen to your song? Then this is the course for you. Learn all your need to know, find your role in a band, and prepare for your first street performance by the end of the day.
What will you be doing?
During the first half of the day, you will learn all the pros and cons and the big philosophy that goes hand in hand with choosing a life on the edge of society. You will hear stories about 15 years of experience playing music on the street and share insights on overcoming the fear of stepping onto the big street stage.
The final part will be to form a band, come up with a name, create a street sign, and pick a song to play. You will divide up the roles in the band, which can be anything from singing, playing guitar, or even just clapping. Then, after a small practice session with your hit tune, you will take to the streets for your debut street concert. In case of rain, we will find a roofed spot.
