Step into the infinite world of theatre in all its manifestations! This course is an introduction to theatre acting. During this week, you will be introduced to the various basics of theatre, such as depicting actions and emotions and building characters.
What will we do?
The course is also an exploration of different forms of theatre. Every day we work around a certain theme, such as improvisational theatre, use of text and movement theatre. We always start the class with a physical warm-up, with exercises for your voice, your body and the use of space. Then you work with the group, in smaller groups or in pairs.
Teacher Maruja Bobo Remijn has a lot of experience teaching basic theatre courses. In her lessons, she creates an open and safe atmosphere, allowing students to get acquainted with all facets of theatre acting and theatre making in a pleasant way.
