This course is for anyone who wants to connect with their feminine and sensual energy through strength, softness and expression in dance and movement.
This course invites you to use dance as a tool to explore and activate the powerful, beautiful energy that already lives within you. There is nothing to prove or copy; the focus is on opening up to what is already there. In a safe and supportive environment, we’ll work on confidence, self-expression and the joy of moving freely.
What will you be doing?
Maria’s classes:
Each class will focus on:
– Body awareness: building a deeper connection with your body and learning to move with intention
– Floorwork technique: moving with ease and control across the floor
– Flexibility: increasing mobility and freedom of movement
– Choreography: learning dance material that allows space for personal expression
– Freestyle: exploring your own flow and creative interpretation
You’ll dance both individually and as a group, developing confidence in your own movement language.
Aissa’s classes:
Aissa’s class is a research based movement class that approaches sensuality as a natural ‘asset’ of the body. If you have a body, you are sensual. It is a matter of tuning into it, a matter of presence. Tuning in, in this fast modern world, is a practice. We start class by checking in with our bodies through a guided meditation, physical warm-up or stretching. After, Aissa will share tools and exercises that allow you to explore what feels good in the context of improvisation. We will practice some floorwork techniques to help you expand your movement vocabulary and we will practice with consent, boundaries and agency. Now and then, we will dance a choreography. After the 10 weeks, you will be more attuned to your senses, you will know better what feels good to you movement wise and you will have more confidence moving freely.
“Maria really created a vibe where everyone is really kind & supportive so it’s very comfortable to explore and move even if you do not feel sensual or sexy in the moment.”
– Sylvie, course participant (season 2025-2026/blok1)
“I think the classes are very well structured and divided between warm up, choreography and improvisation. Personally, I really appreciate the care Maria puts in giving her students specific advices to help us do better.”
– Giada, course participant (season 2025-2026/blok1)
