Go back to where photography began: analogue photography. Instead of taking endless photos on your mobile, you”ll be taking deliberate shots on a real, old-school roll of film. Learn how a (complex) analogue camera really works and how to change a roll of film yourself. As well as covering basic theory such as ISO, aperture and shutter speed, we”ll also focus on creative elements you can use to make your photos even more creative and interesting!
What will we be doing?
In this crash course, you”ll learn to look at your surroundings differently and capture them consciously. Using creative photography techniques, we”ll head out onto the streets of Amsterdam together to shoot a whole roll of film. From the 36 photos on your roll, we”ll select the best images and work towards a group exhibition that we”ll curate and organise ourselves.
