Jonne Lucia
Bio:
Jonne Lucia is an analogue photographer based in Amsterdam, who grew up in the village of Heiloo. She happily swaps her iPhone for an analogue point-and-shoot camera in search of documentary stories. A recurring theme in her work is ‘Slow Dopamine’ – observational photography that makes you pause and look at a familiar environment with fresh eyes. She works from her studio LYCKA, next to Sloterdijk, and is active as an artist in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
Every week she teaches (analogue) photography at various locations across the country. Jonne can’t stop talking about the people she has met during her photography walks, her new creative goals and her notebook full of ideas for upcoming projects.
