This course is aimed at people who want to discover more of their voice in relation to world music and improvisation. Learn how to get more out of your voice and move more freely vocally!
What will we be doing?
Everything in this course is focused on singing together, playing, instant composing and presentation. We will build your confidence through making your voice sing, movement, stretching, posture, grounding exercises, and trusting your tone.
By the end of the week, we will have sung songs that embody both power and gentleness in their expression. These are often primal songs – the origins of our sound. Sung in harmony and in unison. You will gain a deeper understanding of what music requires from your voice and we will create our own songs through play, movement and expression.
Expect an adventurous and surprising week with time for flow and for discovering your voice and the parameters of music. Trust your voice 2026!
