Sandra Kramerová is Slovak born and Israel/New York crafted dance artist currently making dances, performing and teaching in Amsterdam. As a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College (NY) with MFA in Dance Sandra focuses on contemporary dance, physical theatre, yoga and improvisation. Before participating in Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company’s International Dance Program in Israel she received her BA in Choreography at University of Performing Arts in Slovakia. Sandra’s work has been presented at Frascati, CC Amstel and Dansmakers in Amsterdam and Theater De Generator in Leiden, and previously at Dixon Place, BAM Fisher, and Danspace Project in New York City. Sandra’s solo choreography LADIA was turned into a dance film touring over dance film festivals worldwide (with selections such as Cinedans and San Francisco Dance Film Festival). Her most recent multimedia solo project Body as a Weapon is playing at theaters and festivals in The Netherlands.
