Meditative painting is a great example of meditation art – the main goal is to clear your mind of everything except the paints, brushes, and paper in an effort to enter into a meditative flow. When you paint from this place, it is less about techniques and more about letting go and just entering into the experience.
What will you be doing?
This course involves being mindful and present while applying paint to paper. Envision your stressors and consciously immerse yourself in them, then transform these stressors into tangible objects through art. As you paint, you will focus on releasing stress and creating harmony. This practice allows you to let go and find inner peace.
Unlike standard meditation that focuses on the self-release of your negative emotions through guidance or conscious submergence into your psyche, meditative art-making emphasizes harmony using art and your creativity as a medium.
