This improv theatre daycourse focusses on two things:
– Intimacy, boundaries and consent
– Dramatic Improv
Improv is often fun and games. But it can be way more personal, intimate and dramatic. To be able to play these deeper kinds of improv, you’ll need to trust your scene partners.
What will we be doing?
To get there all of the players need to be clear and respectful in boundaries and consent. So that’s what we’ll work on first. Then we’ll see how we can use these skills to play scenes where characters who care about each other get into all aspects of relationships, including intimacy and arguments. We’ll also work with scenes from a setup, as some know from the Dutch TV-series De vloer op.
This lesson will give you tools to connect stronger with your fellow players and play scenes that go as deep as what you see in scripted theatre and film
