In this broad course, you choose exactly what you want to learn: carving letters, making a relief, or carving a small sculpture from a basic geometric shape. Everything has to do with tracing and relief within stone sculpting. Tracing is an art form that involves making fine stone ornaments, found mainly in Gothic architecture and used to decorate windows, rose windows and other architectural elements.
What will we do?
In consultation with the teacher, you will choose a personal project and learn to master the technique step by step. During the lessons, there will be short breaks during which we will look at work by sculptors or discuss a specific technique.
