Hugo Rompa
Bio:
Hugo Rompa initially envisioned himself pursuing a career in music; thus he studied the classical guitar at the conservatory of Amsterdam, performed in concerts for a number of years (including with his own guitar-duo), but has decided to trade in his guitar for a camera. From that moment on, he was a photographer.
Hugo started off as an aerial photographer, and now enjoys a broad range of disciplines: the portrait, interiors, documentaries, and reproduction of art. He taught at the Rietveld Academie and at the Hogeschool Utrecht. Hugo is working on a variety of projects, in part as commissions and in part as a freelancer.
