AfroMix is an explosive, energetic and powerful dance style. The movements are grounded, big, fast and it’s all about letting yourself go and exploring your body to go to its max. Come out of your comfort zone! Feel FREE to show yourself. The music is uplifting, up-tempo and makes you wanna move right away! The vibe in the class is positive, supportive and safe to learn and express yourself.
AfroMix is a full body workout. The warming up consists of exercises to make the body stronger, and the muscles prepared for the intense dance style. A few good stretches to become flexible and relaxed are also included.
So bring comfortable clothes and a BIG bottle of water, ‘cause we gonna SWEAT!
What will you be doing?
In this week we will focus on the basics of AfroMix movements: dancing grounded, dancing big, full power, loosen up the hips, chest, head and knees. In the summer it’s also nice to dance outside, so we will go to a nearby park sometimes!
