Photography is much more than just a snapshot. You can learn how to take pictures and set up your camera and we will certainly learn that in this course, but what do you do with that knowledge afterwards? Step into the world of photography with this course. From reportage to art photography, from newspaper photos to art prints; contemporary photography is the common thread in this course.
What will you do?
All facets of photography are discussed based on photos and short films by well-known photographers. Technique and content will be discussed extensively. We will go into black and white photography, look at the ins and outs of making a portrait and get to work with still life photography. How do you take an exciting photo? What is the decisive moment? You will work with his tricks and tips on composition and the use of light. Who are you as a photographer?
Method?
You will receive a lesson plan from the teacher one week before the course begins.
What will you need?
A digital or analogue camera.
Prior skills required?
The course is designed for people who are just starting out in photography and want to get more out of their camera than just a technically accomplished photo.
The main language in this course is Dutch, but English and German speakers can also follow this course.
