Who are you and what is your story? What is your inspiration and how do you translate this to video? Together with video maker Janneke de Jong you will explore these questions and while making use of the versatile medium of video.
What will we do?
Video is painting with editing, sound, movement, color, light, direction and camera. In eight weeks we will experiment with how we can put all of these elements to use.
You might end up making a video clip, a moving poem, an abstract video, a diary fragment or a film portrait. Or perhaps short video sketches that together form a whole.
We will also watch inspiring videos, you will learn to understand and apply film language and will gain insight into the choices of a director.
Please note: this is not a technical course, but a course for creative depth. The focus is on playing and experimenting with film and on your own inspirations.
