Do you enjoy telling a story in images? Have you always wanted to get started as an illustrator? Then this course is for you!
Over five weeks, you will work with different association techniques to generate ideas so that your illustrations will have their own unique angle. Classes will cover different forms of illustration in the editorial sphere and by the end of the course you will have a good idea of just how broad this field is.
What will you be doing?
You will work on creating spot illustrations, covers, two pagers, character design and much more. Each class will start analogue with pencil and paper. If you want to work out your sketch digitally afterwards, you can, but it is not a requirement.
You don’t have to be good at drawing to follow this course. In principle, there is no homework, but if you would like to continue working at home, you may of course do so.
At the end of the course, you will have a small portfolio.
