A dynamic introduction to ceramic techniques such as modeling, building in rings, working with plates and assembling. You will familiarize yourself with sculptural principles such as form, structure, rhythm and space. You also learn various glazing techniques. That way images appear in color, moulded in ceramics!
What will you be doing?
You will first make a project in clay. Then the first firing in the oven follows. You then give your workpiece a color by means of glazes, majolicas, oxides, engobes or combination thereof. Then the second so-called glost comes. In general, it is an extensive discipline through which one can achieve beautiful results.
You will work through playful assignments. There is space for your own research and imagination, not to mention: improvisation! Classical subjects such as model and still life are also discussed in an unconventional manner.
