Illustrations are drawings that are usually made for reproduction: for (print) books, magazines, brochures, calendars, postcards, you name it. In this course we will focus on that aspect: what will you have to deal with when you make drawings for publication?
What will you be doing?
On the basis of short exercises and longer exercises and drawing assignments you will become acquainted with various techniques and materials, with character design and composition. You will learn how to develop an idea and how to set up a scene. Of course, we are working towards a joint illustrated publication.
This course is a follow up course to the Illustration course.
