Clay is used for, among other things, utensils and jewelry. In this course you will learn the possibilities of the material. Learn to clay like never before: get out of your head and into the clay!
Through sculpting you will learn to look at simple things from a different perspective. Eventually your pieces are fired in a ceramic oven.
You will practically study clay-related art of the greatest ancient cultures such as Chinese, Assyrian, African, Incas, Greek. You also cover a bit of history of traditional and contemporary sculpture.

Can’t get enough? Every Saturday morning, from 10.30am to 1.00pm the walk-in-studio will practice model drawing with a (nude) model under supervision of CREA teachers.
